A commemoration of fabulous luxury cars

There are some people who dedicate their lives to an interest, a passion or a hobby. Simon Jordan is one such person who has taken his love for supercars to an altogether higher level. Simon happens to be the Director of Cortese which is a showroom featuring iconic cars like the Ferrari and Maserati, which is located in Bath in the UK. Apart from the cars, this store has a wide collection of Maserati and Ferrari memorabilia which has pictures, models from back in 1947 as well as a library of books on these supercars.

Now Simon has come up with Caracalla Bagaglio which is a line of leather goods of Italian genre, which have been created to complement the greatest cars that the world has ever seen. The name of this range is derived from the Terme di Caracalla which is the racing circuit in Rome and the site where Ferrari won its first race in 1947. This range is part of the Commemorative Motorsport Collection that features leather bags as well as holdalls. These special pieces are dedicated to some of the most iconic moments in racing history.

These bags are specially fashioned by skilled artisans who make these bags by hand in Tuscany. These bags are crafted from the best leather available and are related specifically to famous cars, drivers and also numbers related to historic races. Some of these bags are even specially endorsed by famous racers like Niki Lauda, Emerson Fittipaldi and Sir Stirling Moss. Take for example the Moss No. 7 bag which has been designed in the fond memory of the win in 1961 by Sir Stirling Moss at Goodwood. This bag was finished in dark leather which matched the original paintwork of the car. This bag also has the official signature of Moss in the white center panel. What’s amazing is that Moss also owns one of these bags as a kind of endorsement of its quality and exquisiteness.
