A gemstone garden can be both surreal and spectacular
Everybody loves a beautiful garden. What could be more peaceful and relaxing than walking out into a garden where all of the flowers are in bloom? Think of the colors and aromas of all the gorgeous arrays of blooms.
Each year the Royal Horticulture Society has a showpiece exhibition. This year David Domoney has something spectacular planned too.
Each garden takes meticulous planning. You need to take so many factors into consideration. From spacing and light, terrain and know how as far as what blooms when and for how long, there are just so many things to consider.
Take that knowledge and now consider making a garden out of….gemstones. Really? Yes, really. That, in a nutshell is the idea that David has come up with for this year’s showpiece. Think about it…could this be an easy thing to do? You don’t have to worry about blooming schedules or watering and sunlight. You do however have to worry about one important factor…where to get the gemstones.
For David, this was simple. He got the gemstones on loan from the Bond Street store located in Leviev. These gems include a ring shaped like a peony featuring pink and green diamonds. There is also a massive blue diamond that will be in the garden. Do not think though that these are the only gems in the garden. This garden will have more gemstones than you can fathom all displayed as flowers or different aspects of a true horticultural delight.
As you can probably imagine, security at this event will be incredibly tight because of the gemstones. Where else could you go to a garden and flower show and have tighter security than the Queen of England?
