Dunhill still goes with the flow

dunhill-still-goes-with-the-flow York. This was the first of its kind. Now it is more advanced having a selection of over 250 British and Italian clothes which are the finest. The customers can design their own suits, jackets, trousers and shirts. Thus they can design their dress to their individuality, style and comfort. The stitching is overseen by Bruno Cosentino, Dunhill’s master tailor. The space entirely dedicated to the brand’s exceptional tailoring service.
The suit ordered undergoes 165 exceptionally meticulous operations performed by skilled artisans and also 200 individual pieces are used in the making of just one jacket. The floating canvas used allows it to mold to the body over time. The custom program offers the customer two choices – the House’s signature St James’ block, which has several Dunhill touches or the slimmer Belgravia fit which is defined by a suppressed waist, built up chest and sharp shoulders.
The program also gives the customer a unique offer by allowing them to personalize their suits by straight or slanted pockets, center or side vents and a notch or peak lapels. Dunhill silhouettes are superior to the rest by the introduction of a lightly ‘roped’ shoulder which provides a typical English outline.
This is an impressive mark of luxury as it raises the crown of the sleeve slightly, which ensures the purest of lines from the shoulder to sleeve. High performance fabrics available includes a 3-ply high twist super 130′s wool and silk fabric in a range of the infamous blues and greys. Each Dunhill item will be completed and delivered within two months. Once the design of the pattern is complete, it becomes a part of the Alfred Dunhill archives which keeps in reserve for returning clients who seek additional made-to-order services.
