A while ago the company launched its new line, the Project X designs that has been inspired by the Rolex Submariner and the Rolex Explorer designs. This new design has been created to pay homage to Agent 007, to the legendary Special Boat Service. The SBS (Special Boat Service) has been an elite commando unit created with the purpose of performing undercover operations.
There have been only 28 items created and in case of each product in the back there is a variation of the well known Frog, Paddle and Parachute insignia and also the motto ‘By Strength and Guile’.
Project X models are represented by several different designs, including MK III and MK IV. One of them has been created to be worn during the day, while the other has been created for the night time.
The MK III has been created to pay homage to the model worn by Sean Connery as Agent 007. The watch comes with anti-reflective satin case finish and it might be purchased only through the website of Project X at the price of $14,000.
On the other hand MK IV has a darker color having matte black carbon-coated case and this item is slightly more expensive than the previous one, having the price of $16,000.
The third Rolex model is the MK V that has a satin finish, and it also got a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. This item is less expensive than the ones that already have been mentioned, and the price is of $13,000.
