Whether you know it or not, when people who golf go on vacation they generally like to vacation near a golf course so they can get a few rounds in while they relax. Barcelona is a gorgeous part of Spain that has a rich history and culture. After Madrid, it is the second largest of all the cities in Spain. There is one course in Barcelona that outshines the rest. Cantaluya is a PGA resort that has achieved recognition across the globe as one of the top 100 courses on earth. It is one of only two courses in Spain to be given this distinction.
The course consists of 36 holes with 11 of them being elevated tee holes. These particular holes give the golfer a whole new perspective of their goal. There are gorgeous fairways, carefully planned water hazards, fabulous greens, and a mature forest.
This particular course has also had the distinct honor of being chosen as the site of the European Tour’s Qualifying School Finals. In all actuality, it is the third year in a row for this honor.
