The digital golf glove

A perfect, but relaxing grip is one of the most fundamental, but highly important facets in calibrating a golf swing. A number of technologies have been developed in turning the golf swings and touches in favor of player, but not much emphasis has been given in developing a technology that delivers strain-less grip on the golf club. The digital golf glove is a pioneering effort from Sensosolutions, which enables a highly sophisticated, but compact way of measuring grip pressure.

Equipped with 4 minute sensors, the SensoGlove is designed in cabretta leather of high quality. The sensors take readings of the grip pressure with a frequency of 80 times per second, and display the pressure on an LED monitor provided on the rear-side of the glove. When making the swing, you can dial the required pressure within a range of 1 to 18. The lower scale from 1 to 12 is meant for low sensitivity, while the higher scale from 13 to 18 is meant for highly sensitive grips that require light pressure for putting and chipping. Players can test from this wide range of pressure settings to determine the perfect swing for different conditions.

And once the player sets his/her target pressure, the glove regularly keeps reading the grip pressure, and alarms the player when the grip is either very tight or loose compared to the set pressure. So much so that the digital golf glove also indicates the finger that is holding more tightly to the grip. This tremendously helps the player to fine-tune the grip in order to get a calibrated response.

SensoGlove has been designed to allow professionals as well as beginners to learn the best way to grip the club for every kind of game — putting, chipping, back-swing, driving, impact, downswing and follow-through. And, for more versatility, you could always remove the LED display from the glove and use it with a replacement glove. You could choose SensoGlove from a wide range of sizes to match your right and left hands, and you may even use pairs in order to get a better pressure control in both of the hands.
