Tiger Wood’s start falling even in Dubai
For a long time people have been talking about the Tiger Woods project in Dubai, since the project has been first mentioned in 2006. There has been a collaboration between the company of Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods Design and Tatweer, being part of the Dubai holding. They were supposed to create an exclusive golf resort that should have featured a golf course designed by the golf star called Al Ruwaya, a golf academy, clubhouse, a boutique hotel for the VIP guests, 300 villas, 20 mansions and also a community retail area.
At the beginning the Dubai golf project had a due date in 2009. In that year there has been a scandal involving Woods, but the company said that they were continuing the work as planned. At the moment it is said that the golfing investment has been put on hold because of the real estate problems in the area. People still don’t know when the project will be restarted.
Although the construction has been started, at the moment there are more camels on the course than golfers.
There is a lot of different news coming from Dubai. There are some real estates that have been launched recently and people say that they have a bright outlook, such as the world’s tallest restaurant that can be found on top of Burj Khalifa. On the other hand a lot of other projects have been put on hold. At the moment there are signs that tourists are starting to visit Dubai again, and maybe this will help the real estate to recover and to finally finish the project regarding luxury golf.
In case you were planning on visiting the course sometime soon, you will have to wait a bit, but you can be sure that the result will be worth the waiting.
