Evolution of TwinRanger 206LT & 407T is brought up as a modified version in form of Bell 427. Bell Company originally had started designing 407T model with twin engine but somehow the project was cancelled rectifying that the model is not capable to take sufficient payload and doesn’t offer desired performance and started to work on new compatible model.

Bell raised the curtain from Bell 427 model at Heli-expo held at Dallas. Before that Bell had made a contract with Samsung Aerospace Industries of South Korea. Samsung has contract to build fuselage, including left and right halves and tail boom for 427 series helicopters and may also start assembling plant at Sachon for sale in South Korean and China. According to contract, Bell is responsible to build dynamic system and designing at Fort Worth in Texas including final assembly at Mirabel, Quebec Plant. Very systematic and efficient assembling structure gives perfect touch in designing this cost efficient & performance capable helicopter model.

Using CATIA 3D modeling techniques, Bell designed 427 on computer and took learning from its prior models 407,206 &206L. Unobstructed cabin with additional length of 13” comparing with 407 in installed in 427. Further 427 is designed with latest technologies and with the help of experts, PW-206 turbo shaft powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada is capable to push 4 blade main rotor and 2 blade tail rotor. Many other latest and class technologies are installed to give a perfect drive through air. Bell has acquired Canadian certification in Nov-1999 and also has US certification in Jan-2000. Moreover, dual pilot IFR certification is also cleared in May-2000.

Bell will come with a revolutionary helicopter design best in its series with all possible facilities and interiors and one more aspect kept in mind is safety. To clear official certificate it is must and Bell is trying to put extra on this.
