In the majority of the cases the first thing that pops into the mind of people when they hear about Mercedes Benz is luxury cars, but it seems like the company has another market that it would like to conquer: luxury aviation.
Last spring we heard for the first time about the plans of the company regarding the Eurocopter EC145 that has been created by Advanced Design Studio. Since then the company has been working a lot and the final product could have been seen at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibit. We have to add that all that work was well worth it. This one of the luxury choppers comes with a sleek metallic finish and it has been presented at Geneva.
The product is the final result of the collaboration of the company with the French fashion house Hermes. The most important thing to remember about the helicopter is that it is considered to be the only product of this kind that can seat up to 8 passengers.
This new product takes business travel to a whole new level. It comes with plush leather seats and wood fittings on the door and on the ceiling. It is also interesting that the seats have been mounted on rails to make it easy to switch them and also to remove them. In case there aren’t so many passengers and there is need for space for the luggage, all you have to do is to remove the unnecessary seats.
The special features of the chopper include a cooler, cup holder, table, DVD player and also monitor. What is the company going to come up next time? Is there anything else that could be taken to the next level or that could be made even more luxurious than it already is?
