Bernardes Jacobsen Arquitetura Firm or the Bernardes+Jacobsen consists of Thiago Bernardes and Paulo Jacobsen. Both working together and making a large team of architects to fulfill all needs of architectural design around Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The basic concept they are using is to transform the common beach houses into a luxurious one by using simple design but at the same time also emphasizing on its boldness and all the details. To do that, they must calculate precisely what is occurring and what to be seen and felt from both points of view of inside and outside. Clarity is essential because too many details will cause the architectural design looks messy and it could ruin everything. The other secret recipe is a perfect setting of luminosity which gives the sparkle of the magic.
Bernardes Jacobsen Arquitetura Firm (BJA) has already designed over 1.000 projects. This firm has three generations of experience, beginning with Sergio, then his son Claudio, and finally his grandson Thiago Bernardes. All of them have the same partner, Paulo Jacobsen.
Their recent projects related to the beach house designs including the amazing Guaruja House located at Sao Paulo, Brazil. Both of the experts collaborated on this design which undoubtedly produces a magnificent beach house. Only supported with five pillars, the pavilion looks so bold and stunning.
