Chateau de Villette which was featured in The DA Vinci Code movie is up for sale. Tom Hanks was the leading actor in the movie. Since the release of the movie a large number of fans visit the Chateau where this blockbuster was made. The castle is made on of 185 acres of land and lies towards Northwest side of Paris. In the movie the castle was showed as the home of Ian Mc Kellan who played the role of Sir Leigh Teabing.

The grand Castle has been priced to sale for a big amount of $39 million. The Chateau was primarily owned by the Venetian Ambassador, Louis XIV’s in 1668. The design and architecture of the castle was implemented by Francois Mansart. The outdoor designing of the gardens and landscapes were finalized by Le Notre. Chateau De Villete is also popularly termed as Le Petite Versailles by some. The reason for this nick name is that Villete has come up during the same time when Versailles was designed.

The castle has been renovated in the last 10 years. It consists of 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and the beautiful garden spread out in the back of the castle. The architecture and design of the dining hall and the entrance hall dates back to 17th century architecture and the stone carved buffet looks spectacular even today. The kitchen was turned modular in 2001 and consists of one banquet room and two kitchens meant for service.

The chateau is well planned with all state of the art amenities. It boasts of a swimming pool, gym, billiard room, wireless internet, library, saloon, and an extravagant staircase that add the touch of royalty to the castle. The castle also has a small chapel and the place can be organized to arrange weddings.

The castle has all the facilities and privacy that one can want from his dream house.
