Garden City, New York has a new luxury home that is being rented out to discerning clients who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This brand new brick home could be better classified as a colonial mansion than a house or home.
With close to 13,000 sq ft, 16 rooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 half bathrooms and 6 bedrooms, a private cinema, a game room (pool table included), a formal dining room and a study/office what more could you need? As you walk in the front door, your breath will be taken away as you take in the sight of the open foyer and curving staircase. The floors in the foyer are white marble with a darker square pattern inlaid in the marble. The whole house has a kind of open floor plan that makes it seem, incredibly, even larger than it actually is.
The grounds surrounding the house are unbelievably beautiful too. As you come onto the property, you will go past a large front lawn on your left. There is a fountain in the middle that can be reached by a stone walkway. Drive around to the side of the house and either park in one of the garages or in the ample parking area. There is a large lawn in the back as well.
This is a perfect place to get away from the pressures of the city while still being in an area where you can get back to civilization on the spur of the moment if needed.
