Nelson Residence – or a luxury house linked to outstanding style
Giving out the best to try a new style on Indonesian’s residences, TWS & Partners focus on innovative architectural designs for both outdoor and indoor including various interior products and furniture. This time, the famous architect Tonny Wirawan Suriajaja and his team including Inge, Budi Setiawan, Grace Dian, and Arianto, all work together on a project called Nelson House or Nelson Residence.
Trying to give a better relation between indoor activity and outdoor activity, the N house as called by TWS team, has a semi private living room that could be seen from the outside. Located at an urban housing complex, this unique house is an unusual view at the end corner and also adjacent to the public park.
The basic concept of this architectural design is elaborating the continuity. Visitors will get a chance to walk in, and from the very first moment, begin the journey through the fence and end the journey to the guest living room, being given the chance to see the semi-private living room situated at 3 meters above the ground level. Family members staying in the family room could enjoy the public park view which means there is a fair trade as the view is concerned.
Uniquely, there is a pedestrian way from the entrance fence, passing the swimming pool, and heading to the guest living room at the back section of the house. This is another walking experience to the visitors of the house.
Using a lot of glass material joined with a tropical terrace and a modern swimming pool, this house consists of many elements of nature. Using metal louver canopy, the luxurious master bedroom is always safe from afternoon sunlight, without sacrificing the beautiful scenery outside.
Built in Indonesia with total constructed area of 750 square meters, this house is not only spacious but outstandingly beautiful.
