After he has made “The Beach”, Leo realized he needs to own one, so he bought this outstanding island Blackadore Caye, located in the beautiful Belize. Belize is a small country in Central America, where the official language is English. That is the only English-speaking country in Central America and lately Belize turns to be extremely popular. Leo was the first among the Hollywood celebrities to drive an eco hybrid car. Having bought the island, Leo intends to provide sustainable buildings into the Blackadore Caye.
The island possesses an area of 42 hectares and its landmark captures beauty, biological treasuries and superior view. The Island is located between two of the Belize most famous touristic destinations- Ambergris Caye and Barrier Reef. Leo has been planning the island to be public and soon there will be amenities such as villas, houses and hotels, built with sustainable recourses. According to many reports Leo’s resort will operate with renewable energy and special solar systems.
The resort will be in the famous Four Season Resorts style due to a contract between the hotel chain and the actor. Four Seasons will be the designers of the massive eco-plans for this island. The island is easy to access as it lays just a 20-mibute boat ride from the famous Barrier Reef that is a world heritage site.
