Mushacay- the island story built in luxury and style
Musha Cay is a luxury resort located in the Exuma chain in south Bahamas. This was bought initially as a family resort, but was converted into a luxury private resort, so as to open it up to all those people who love the good life and enjoy its many attractions. Starting with Musha Cay, a total of four of the neighboring islands have also been bought up and added to the resort.
Musha Cay started off with just a kind of rustic house in the island, and has now been transformed into a private resort with all alluring amenities that took as many as 6 years. The architecture of the resort was done up by Howard Holtzman, who has added the typical Bahamian style to the resort. Materials are local and the styling is distinctly Caribbean.
Musha Cay boasts of 150 acres of lush tropical forests and white beaches that are pristine in their splendor. You can spend hours exploring the jungles or relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun in this inimitable sun-kissed paradise that can have you mesmerized. The Musha Cay is also home to over 200 palms as well as 5,000 flowering plants. What’s more, you can easily charter a flight from Miami which is just 40 minutes away by plane and land in the 2000 foot private airstrip of the island.
Musha Cay has some of the best amenities that you will find anywhere in the world. The cuisine is delectable as award winning European chefs rustle up some really delicious dishes that can satisfy your discerning taste buds.
The four Bahamian style dwellings have a mix of bright island colors as well as Asian and Caribbean furniture to delight your senses. It is no wonder that it has played host to celebrities galore and even oil rich sheiks that have descended here to have themselves pampered and waited on, with their every need, whim and fancy being attended to the very last detail.
