Pumpkin Island is a private island found in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Australia. The current owners bought it in 2003 and they fell in love with it and its beautiful surrounding water. Now, they still live on their own private island that they always wanted and have a great home business. Overall, the island has five fancy houses right near the ocean, powered by natural sources, like the wind and the sun, so they’re environmental friendly. This dream houses have their own bathrooms, a great kitchen equipped with everything you may need. The most important thing is the huge deck where you can sit watching the sunset, the ocean or enjoy a nice barbecue.

Due to its position, Pumpkin Island is very accessible. You can get there by boat or even by helicopter, due to the landing pad built on the beach. Another way is taking Pumpkin Xpress, the resort’s boat. In addition, the island is not far from the urban world. Rosslyn Bay Harbour is only 8.5 miles far, meaning it will take you 25 minutes by boat or 10 minutes by jetski. If you choose the helicopter, you might want to know that it will take you only 45 minutes to Rockhampton.

The owners hadn’t decided yet to sell the island, but they rent the houses and the island also. For a house, the renting offers start from 330 Australian dollars per night. If you want to rent the whole island and enjoy it only with your family and friends, the total price is 2.165 Australian dollars per night. Renting the whole island, you can invite up to 30 people. If you want to avoid overcrowded places, it’s better to rent the whole island. That way, you can relax how much you want to and where you want to, admire nature’s beauty, the luxury and the house’s facilities.
