Benetti Platinum

Launched last fall, made his first public appearance at the Cannes Boat Show in September and received a great deal of attention despite being a rookie. It was the largest yacht with a considerable margin and dominated the show superyacht dock on the side facing the sea port with regal poise.

Platinum has been designed from the outset to meet all the needs of guests “A boat should be luxurious, from there be something that inspires you. Ordinary life is boring. Guests on board should feel special. They have worked to create an interior that has more than a touch of the Palais de Versailles in this regard, with the French influence in detail for the most valuable wood oak Burr, colored various shades and curtains gale. The neo-classical table lamps have a touch of Sèvres on them.

The final layer of luxury, however, must be the sheer size of gold leaf: about 40,000 sheets, each individually applied by a craftsman.

“The gold leaf gives a unique atmosphere is light, yet warm.

For relaxation there is a bright and spacious main salon, with plenty of comfortable and a plasma television. The room is served by a bar on the left side. Upstairs, there is another hall, spacious but more private.

Platinum can accommodate up to 14 people, although one of his double bed and a sofa bed.

Platinum Building on a proven design hull with a fine, seakindly entry and plenty of waterline length has meant that engineers Benetti could afford to be pretty confident about range and performance with their engines selected: Twin 396-series MTU V-12s. They produce 2250 hp each at a relatively relaxed 2100 rpm, and give the boat a top speed of over 17 knots, although more time will cruise around 14 knots. Its range at 12.5 knots, is an impressive 3500 miles nautical.
