Gucci and their fast water toy
The brand of Gucci has always been a synonymous of super luxury items. The world of the luxe would be nothing without the Italian brand. The company is going to mark its 90th anniversary with a special event. The event is creating a yacht that must be the crown of Gucci`s work over the years.
The Italian brand called for a special help in this matter. The Italian yacht producer Riva and Gucci are now collaborating for the creation of the first luxury Gucci`s boat called Aquariva. Of course, the company`s designers are not going to be amateurs. The designer studio behind this ambitious project is the Officina Italiana Design, a studio that is already famous for being the best in the luxury yacht class. The boat is also customized by the creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini.
The yacht is equipped with fiberglass hull, a mahogany deck, it is 33-foot long, as the speed is guaranteed by two 380-horsepower Yanmar engines, which are the main reason why the boat can reach a maximum speed of 41 knots.
Its cruising range is also impressive- 150 miles. As for the interior, it is sure that this yacht boasts with the typical Italian dolce vita style. Sophisticated furniture, elegant and stylish cabins, lots of luxury extras- these are just parts of what Gucci is offering to its sailing customers. The yacht is perfect for offshore cruising as it can accommodate 12 guests with a crew of 8 people.
The boat is going to be part of The International Cannes Boat Show, as well as other prestige expositions. It is obvious that the collaboration between Gucci and Riva was useful and mostly- it sets an example for the next generation luxury boats. The price of Aquariva by Gucci is $ 750, 800.
