Lady Moura – the lady is riding the waves

Not being necessarily the largest yacht in the world, the Lady Moura is on the eleventh position in the world as size is concerned and that makes it one of the largest sail yachts currently on the market.
Lady Moura was launched to water in 1990 and it measures 105 meters in length. For this yacht to come to life, there were needed over four years of sustained work from a team of ship builders led by the Italian architect Luigi Sturchio. This famous name into boat architecture was responsible for the exclusive design of the boat’s interior and exterior while the engineering bears the signature of Blohm & Voss.
The deck and the inner structure are made of solid metal in order to offer the necessary safety and resistance measures. Because such a giant is not easy to move this wonderful boat is equipped with two diesel KHD-MWM engines each of them with a power of 5050kw, the equivalent of 6700 CP. The speed, that Lady Moura can reach is impressive for its weight and dimensions because she can easily reach 20 marine nods.
All the doors, the roofs from the passing corridors are opening hydraulically with the help of sensors in order to ease to the maximum the effort and increase the comfort.
The ship can accommodate 60 persons and on board there were set artificial beaches with the smoothest sand next to a large pool with detachable roof very accommodating for the hot season.
