Remora – the unquestionably beauty of the sea
ClaydonReeves used the Monaco Yacht Show 2010, as a platform to officially launch their newly formed design firm and also to present the Remora. It is a concept motor yacht, 80 mts in length. Claydon Reeves, the newly launched design is based in the United Kingdom and are specialists when it comes to creating interesting and unique exterior designs for super yachts.
The firm work under the auspices of directors Mike Reeves and James Claydon. The two have worked for some of the leading yacht consultancies in the world. These include Andrew Winch, Redman Whiteley Dixon, Donald Starkey and others.
ClaydonReeves draw their inspiration, for the external forms of the super yachts, from nature and from contemporary architecture. Their inspired exterior designs are a sight to behold. The Remora has an unconventional layout and also boasts of a Gaudiesque Sundeck.
The breathtaking interiors include a double height mezzanine on the main deck, public areas and guest suites which are uniquely duplex. The master cabin has its own private deck on the aft bridge.
The unique ClaydonReeves style is seen in the exteriors. The narrow plumb bow, concave glass, tight surfaces and the tapering stern are only a few examples of the beautiful work done by the designers. The Remora is a beautifully designed upper yacht that meets the aesthetic and luxury needs of the super rich.
