Sessa, Mochi, Ferretti awards at Cannes

At the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes in 2009 were delivered, as every year, the World Yachts Trophies, seventh edition of the award created by the publishing group Luxmediagroup, an international network of magazines specializing in marine electronics.
The flagship of the shipyard Sessa Marine, the C 68, has won the Yacht Design Award in the category “best design for motor yachts up to 24 meters, thus confirming the great success from their boats and the close cooperation with the firm Dada (Molteni Group) who made the galley.
This major award recognizes the company, recognizing the efforts and resources invested in the development of this boat, stressing at the same time, the constant will of Sessa Marine to bring up the value of Italian excellence. The sporty lines and elegant at the same time, along with the importance attached to light real star on board, make a C 68 single boat that carries the signature of a well-known designers like Christian Grande, who worked for the family Sessa, through his creations, from for 12 years.
The Ferretti Group has received several awards.
The Mochi Craft Long Range 23 was the only boat to win two awards: the “Trophée de l’Innovation 2009″ and “Best Layout 2009″ in category boats under 24 meters.
The awards, conferred by an international panel of experts say the Long Range 23 as the large motor yachts to the most advanced hybrid landscape of the nautical world and the only boat to have obtained certification by RINA “Green Star Clean Energy and Clean Propulsion “the most severe environmental certification standards applicable to recreational craft.
At the awards ceremony, the “Trophée de l’Innovation 2009″ and “Best Layout 2009″ had been withdrawn by the CEO of the Ferretti Group, Salvatore Basile and Marco Segato Vice-President Sales Mochi Craft.
