When looking for a luxury (VLJ) jet to charter, lease or buy, you could look into the AdamJet A700. It is a versatile turbo fan powered jet that can be configured to seat 6 to 8 passengers. With a six passenger configuration you have the added benefit of a full lavatory located on the aft. With a 7 passenger configuration the lavatory changes to a small one. For the 8 passenger configuration there is no lavatory. It has the largest cabin configuration of any jet in the business class. In addition to in cabin storage behind the crew seats as well as outside the lavatory, there is also more storage available in a compartment in the nose of the plane. There is also plug and play functionality for electronics in the cabin.

The Williams International FJ33-4A turbofan engine is the secret to powering the Adam A700. The engine is originally built with a thrust of 1,568 lbs, but has been downgraded to 1,350 for this jet. For optimum performance, the engine should be inspected at 1,750 hours of flight time and at 3,500 hours it should be overhauled.

Inside the cockpit you will find that it is a glass cockpit. It includes a PFD (primary flight display) which shows the pilot all pertinent information including heading, altitude, flight director, airspeed, vertical speed, command bars and all preselects. It also has something called MFD (multifunction display) which provides all of the engine instrumentation and navigational information.

These jets are relatively new but have already taken off. General Aviation Airlines was one of their first major customers and has ordered 50 of these remarkable machines. Also, Magnum Jets is going to be using the A700 for air limo services in its VLJ management and ownership program.
