Mjets Ltd launched its first private jet terminal with 2 hangers and spacious lounge with all possible luxuries and services at Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok. Currently running successfully, Mjets was chosen among many bidders by offering 36 million baht (Local Currency) for building and operating the private aviation facility for 5 years. The company is partially owned by Minor Group. Next bidder was Royal Airport Services bided for 26 million baht.

Despite of having plans for establishment of similar business services at Phuket and Chiang Mai International Airports, Mjets was allowed by Airports of Thailand to develop the terminal.

“The development has overcome inadequate exclusive facility for luxury traffic in Thailand and has brought agile ROI” said Jaiyavat Navaraj, MD of Mjets. Jaiyavat also added that no wonder if Thailand becomes an exclusive center for private jets comparing to one in Kuala Lumpur.

Growing business travel of China and India goad by increasing private jet traffic and Bangkok can be beneficial as air routes to and fro crosses through Thailand. Aiming 10% of gradual expansion, the company is armed with 40 personnel and 3 well experienced persons expecting more than 40 flights a month. Though the company believes that abrupt move in private jet is not possible and will take time to get recognized globally.

With capacity of 50 flights a month, Don Mueang Airport is ready with Gulfstream G550 ultra long range business jet capable of carrying 45 tonnes and the service charge will be less than 40% comparing with Hong Kong. Moreover the aircrafts previously offered by Minor Aviation such as Piper Malibu Mirage, Cessna Citation X and CJ3 will also have parallel charting through the terminal with its new evaluation, Mjets.

Outstanding venture by Jaiyavat Navaraj with wealthy facilities and lavish traveling facilities Mjets will surely turn its balance sheet from red to black in no time.
