Because they tried their hands at first on the naval work, stepping out of the car design line was noting but the logical choice to expand the brands name further in the luxury world.
The aircrafts have been design to match every personal touch BMW is known for. The brand’s fingerprint is visible on two aircrafts produced by the Brazilians from Embraer specialized in the luxury air jets production.
It seems that the designer team from BMW USA took on as a personal challenge the creation of Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 since 2004 and a multitude of possible versions were considered since then.
BMW tried its best not to impose the traditional German design typical to all its models for the inside of the aircrafts but kept a series of general applying rules of luxury design. The cabins and the cockpit were created to mirror a perfectly functional spirit, an innovative design and an exceptional quality along with an excellent space usage both for passengers and luggage.
