It is certified to 41,000-foot (12,000 m) altitude and carries 16 passengers for 3,050 nautical miles (5,650 km) or 8 passengers for 3,450 nautical miles (6,390 km). Located in the upper part of the Embraer selection of aircrafts, this model has been sold in more than 150 airframes and the current backlog still runs towards the 200th delivery.
