Royal Jordanian is set to expand its flight service to a considerable level. The company is planning to replace its current line of aircrafts that includes two of the A310 passenger aircraft with that of the new third model Airbus A330 aircraft. This new inclusion will make Royal Jordanian to provide direct service from 59 destinations across the world along with 32 planes services. Royal planes will thus open up to a new astounding range of services to the passengers.
The long range flights have gone for an overhaul with this plan and aims at providing the most modern and comfortable travel in these luxury plane all along. Old aircrafts are replaced with current ones with all the modern facilities instilled in them. This particular range of aircrafts is leased based on a long term basis for up to 2017 January until the delivery of the 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliners that will join the flight in the year 2014. In order to accommodate this delay, the leasing is carried on that will cover some parts of the RJ routes. Flying speed of the aircraft will be 13,400 km and will carry a 15 tons cargo easily in it.
Along with long and medium range routes, such as that of the Lagos and Colombo, some new ranges and routes are also planned to be opened by the end of the year. The luxury aircraft is spacious that can accommodate up to 283 passengers and also some 24 in that of Crown class.
