Launched in 2009, ‘Asia’ takes her guests through Malaysia, the Andaman Islands, the remote Mergui Archipelago, Thailand and through the tiny exotic coasts of Indonesia.
Sail yacht Asia was created for Paul and Debbie Johnson, who have been recognized for their expertise on adventure charters in the South East Asia seas for the past 13 years. Luxurious and spacious, the charter yacht receives a Burmese teak finish along with leather sofa treatment in its saloon. The interior décor is celebrated with original oil paintings and Thai silks. The pilothouse offers a 360 degree view outside and decks offer sweeping wide space for guests.
The charter yacht also offers few outing facilities into the Indian Ocean. It has the capability to take on offshore expeditions of up to 6 months with its 6,500-mile range. Asia delivers an exhilarating performance at full sail, courtesy to its large sloop rig.
She accommodates 10 guests in her 5 luxurious staterooms — a twin cabin, 2 convertible double cabins and 2 double cabins, all laden with ensuite toilet and shower, air-conditioning and entertainment system offering unlimited horde of music and movies.
Charter guests can enjoy the eco-friendly activities of the sail yacht including scuba diving, performance sailing, snorkelling, wildlife viewing and jungle walks, surfing, kayaking. Guests could sometimes find themselves sun-tanning on remote beaches with not another tourist lurking within 300 miles from them — an experience, which is quite impossible to find elsewhere. The sailing yacht is fully equipped with Scuba diving gear for 10 guests, providing all the equipment — masks, wetsuits, fins, safety equipment and experienced dive leaders.
