Icarus and its amazing design
Icarus was fist called Jongert 2700M. The releasing of this super yacht was near the walls of the medieval castle of Radboud in the Netherlands. After the ceremony of its releasing the producers decided to change the name of their creation as they gave it the name honoring the mythical hero Icarus.
This lavish yacht is made with a length of 27 meters and it’s probably the most successful yacht in the history of Jongert, a company notorious for its stylish design and yacht development. The model Icarus was made by the architect Dough Peterson, who is working with the richest people on earth for creating their stunning yachts. The yacht possesses an outstanding first class interior as the materials, fabrics and the whole equipments speak of luxury and sophistication. Icarus is produced in the most desired range: 27-34 m and currently the producers are preparing its motor version.
This sophisticated and classy boat is with 35-meter mast and sails with an area of 960 m2. The board is in interesting anthracite color, almost black with a metallic tint. The deck is entirely made of teakwood. Icarus offers five cabins, as the largest of them is the owner suit, which is a modern wonder inserted on board.
The owner suit is equipped with a king sized bed, desk, wardrobe, sofa and a luxury bathroom. The living room offers all kind of entertainments such as internet, plasma screens and home theater. There are also sunbath areas, mini swimming pool and privacy lounges. The color range is restrained, mostly in gray, blue and silver. This gives a sophisticated and refine look for the whole vision. Icarus speed can satisfy the lovers of fast toys as the yacht can reach 11.5 knots per hour. Another bonus is the unique yacht terrace on board.
