Alloy Yachts engineered the Red Dragon, a luxury sailing yacht, and passed it on to the owner on March 2008. This 52m (170’) wonder comprises of the design from Dubois Naval Architects. It is a highly efficient yacht made from aluminum sloop. The combined effort from Alloy and Dubois has given rise to this magnificent, elegant piece of work. It is considered to be one of the best yachts of the present day.
Wilmotte & Associates are the mind behind the yacht’s interior designing. They gave the modern-day appeal to the yacht that makes it look both stylish and strong with its state of the art relaxing rooms, gymnasium, and dining rooms. The boat has five cabins that can accommodate up to 10 crew members. 16,000 liters of water are supplied through two water makers every day. The fly bridge of the yacht can be accessed through the cockpit.
It has one owner’s suite and three guest suites and has outstanding grey and white topsides. The yacht has attained great admiration for its impeccable designing and also for its best performance. The yacht was created keeping in mind the necessity to take on long hour journeys without any outside assistance.
This luxury yacht is built-in with a massive 62.5m (205ft) carbon fiber mast with a fully blocked in-boom furling mainsail. 11 captive and six vertical winches help in levering the yacht sailing.
