VISMARA V62 GT
After the great success of the Vismara V80 Luce Guide and many requests at the Genoa boat show 2011Vismara shipyard started designing the new V62 GT, the natural evolution of the Vismara V80. A ‘Grand Tourer’ of the Sea, elegant, but yet sporty and strong. The new V62 GT perfectly matches the Vismara style characterized with high-tech integrated systems, modern style, lightweight materials, great attention to details and all to ensure safety, comfort, lightness and speed.
The owner of the new V62 GT with his family, guests or a small member of crew will handle her with no difficulties thanks to the intelligent design, smart rigging and easy sailing integrated systems.
Neither the less the V62 GT will also participate in high level racing. All this thanks to:
· Carbon sandwich construction vacuumed with epoxy resin, extremely strong and secure.
· Predispositions of integrated techniques such as carbon fiber mast and boom with retractable
halyards and rigging.
· All mainsheet and halyards arriving to the cockpit near the steering wheel using 4 double speed electric winches for full comfort and handle.
· Boom designed to allow a fixed point of mainsail sheet 2:1 without disturbing the helm position, and having a mainsheet system that is passing from inside ‘German mainsheet system’.
· Telescopic keel, with a varying draft of 2.55 to 3.55 m allow to pass/moor in shallow waters with a 62 footer and also benefits the performance.
Equipment and comfort onboard: air conditioning, ice maker, coffee machine, 2 x LG TV and Bose
entertainment system. The new V62 GT benefits from an internal carbon sandwich structural, to obtain a low weight construction and to benefit the relationship between displacement and ballast.
The carbon hull with the evolutionary angels for gliding, large aft and a displacement of 15500 kg only increase the speed, creates less heeling and reduce the fuel consumption. Upwind the new V62 GT is a missile, and thanks to the telescopic keel in full wind it’s possible to improve the performance and change the center of gravity for optimal sailing.
The interior space, thanks to the large aft, use the maximum bandwidth and allow 2 large twin aft cabins with separated bathrooms. Just behind, a lazarette which is suitable for a 2.80m dinghy and 3 large lockers.
The sliding hard top in the living zone uses hydraulic cylinders to open/close the front window, using also pneumatic inflatable seals to ensure a perfect sealing.
A real ‘lounge bar’ where air and sea are a part of the interiors, sitting inside feels just like outside thanks to the hard top and the big windows.
A real lay back. The bow owner cabin uses the same intelligent design as in the v80 Luce Guida, in this way the approach to the bad is all around, behind 2 entrances for toilet and a big shower.
